At the times of darkness, it’s heart-warming to see a lot of Filipinos do their best to support the affected victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Some said their prayers, some donated using their savings and some offered their services. With the recent controversial news regarding Janet Napoles and said government funds being ‘donated’ to some so-called foundations and NGOs, I understand that a lot of us are still wary of trusting some organized groups that are pledging to help the victims.
